Albert J. Koklich

        With a top hat and tails, Kleen Sweep Chimney Service was founded in 1978 by Albert J. Koklich, of Granville. In addition to his chimney sweeping business, Al was also employed as a Guidance System Technician at the Newark Air Force Base and Boeing for 43 years.

       An Army veteran who served during the Vietnam era, Al passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Chapel Grove Inn, Heath after a long illness. He was born in 1948 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Frances Koklich.

        Al enjoyed traveling, working around his home, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man of great faith and member of The Church of St. Edward the Confessor and the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered as a loving and kind husband, father, and grandfather.

        Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sherry Koklich; children, Justin and Heather Koklich of Granville (grandchildren, Katelyn and Jack) and Kelley and Joseph Forster of Gahanna; and brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Patty Koklich of Denver, CO.

        In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by one brother, Edmond.

        A private family Funeral Mass will be held with Monsignor Paul P. Enke as celebrant. A Celebration of Al’s life will be held at noon on June 25, 2016 at 226 River Bend Ct., Newark, Ohio.
