Anita M. Woodard

Anita M. Woodard, a loving and beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt passed away December 2, 2017 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born in 1966 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Halahan) Thomas.

A graduate of Shenandoah High School, Anita attended The Ohio State University and worked in education as a preschool director and most recently as a teacher’s aide for Granville Schools.

Anita will remain forever in the hearts of those surviving; her husband, Phil; sons, Jack and Rudy Bradley and their father Steve; step children, Trenton and Alexandria Woodard; siblings, twin sister, Annette Brink, Suella (Sam) Narotski, John (Maggie) Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Victoria (Steve) Weldon, Loretta (Doug) Roby, Michael (Debra) Thomas, Evelyn Rogers, and Deborah Snode.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Joseph Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville.
