Michael L. Davis

A memorial service celebrating the life of Michael L. Davis, 72, of Hebron, will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 7714 Hazelton-Etna Rd SW, Pataskala with Pastor Bret Rizzo as celebrant.

Mike passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare in Newark. He was born to Mariam Brake Sibert in Croton, Ohio and grew up with the additional care of his grandparents, Ethel and Everett Brake.

After graduating from Northridge High School, Mick became an independent trucker driving the east coast from Florida to Canada until his retirement. A fan of NASCAR, Mike also enjoyed mowing the grass, motorcycling, and boating and fishing on Lake Jessop. He will be remembered for his ornery disposition.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Mike and Melissa Davis, Leisa Davis and John Gerren, Loralei and Tom Nolan, Scott and Lori Davis, and Sean and Velvet Davis; special niece Debbie Brooks and her husband Bill; 15 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; step brothers, Jim and Jerry Sibert; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife Linda Davis, who died in 2013.
