The memoir and history and the life of Mary Borroway is inspiring to all who knew her and we are privileged to be part of her life. She has lived a full life and having seen her several years ago at an assisted living area and noted that she was alert and involved in conversation which we so much enjoyed her company, We had decades ago been to her Jacksontown home on Ohio route 13 and heard stories of Vera's upbringing with Mary's mother in the language and culture of Germany. We will miss her. She had sold us a nice buggy, the kind that a country doctor would ride in. Our condolences are with Heidi and her family. Viele liebliche, hertzliche Gruesse, Vera und Craig

Heidi and family,
So sorry to read of Maria's passing. She was very special and my children have such fond memories of she and Frank as they were growing up. She always had a special place in her heart for Dirk since he was born in Germany. I will miss her stories! What a rich, full life she had and now she and Frank are reunited in Heaven. I'm so happy she is with Jesus as he sustained her here on earth.

to Heidi and family.......I am sorry for your loss. I didn't know this lovely lady but when reading her obituary I could identify with her life events. My great grandparents (mother's side) were from Ulm, Germany.......I, too, loved my horses and rode many trail rides. I love Dawes Arboretum and our beautiful countryside here in central Ohio. I am sure you have many fond memories of this lovely lady and pray they will ease your loss.
