Welcome to the memorial page for

Yuri Clarry

September 1, 2017

Yuri Clarry, a devoted husband, loving father, and true gentleman, passed away at the age of 48 at his home in Granville on Friday, September 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Carlisle Cumbria, England.

After graduating from the Institute of Merchants in London, Yuri’s strong work ethic and self-motivation lead him into a life-long career in the textile industry.  He was AVP Production and Sourcing with L Brands and enjoyed traveling extensively, living and working in Asia, and other parts of the United States.

When not at work, Yuri was a devoted family man spending time with his sons hiking at Spring Valley Nature Preserve, playing Frisbee at Wildwood Park or going to catch a movie. Yuri had a great sense of style, as well as a great sense of humor enjoyed by all.  An avid reader, Yuri also loved riding his motor bike and repurposing wood into something beautiful.

Surviving are his wife, Kelly Clarry; sons, Oliver and William; mother, Carol Summers; father-in law, William Dewey Pedrick and his wife, Cathy; mother-in-law, Andrea Pedrick; half-brother, Charlie Summers; half-sister, Jessica Mary Summers; and brother-in-law, Casey Pedrick.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Yuri’s life will be held at the Buxton Inn, 313 E. Broadway, Granville from 6-8 P.M. on Monday, September 11, 2017.
