Joyce M. Kidder, 74, of Pataskala, formerly of Washington, passed away April 23, 2017 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala, Ohio. She was born in 1942 in Monterey, California to the late Warren D. and Ruth Crowe Kidder.
A retired receptionist from West Virginia University, Joyce was an honest and loving person with true grit. She had a love of animals that included dogs and horses. She enjoyed her equestrian activities, sewing, and devoted her life to her children.
Surviving are her son, Lynn Howerton; daughter, Valoree Gavin; grandchildren, Jessica and Crystal Howerton, Dale Howerton, Destine Poulsen, Andrew and Garrett Vernau, Issabella McConkey, Mitchell McConkey, Ahnya McConkey, Phillip Gavin, and Stephanie Coffers; four great grandchildren; and brothers, Leland and Dee Kidder.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Howerton.
A private family service will be held in honor of Joyce’s life.
