Liza was born July 8, 1976 in Newark, Ohio. She passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her home.
A proud graduate of Newark High School in the Class of 1994, Liza found her professional calling as a dedicated customer service representative at Verizon, where she was employed for many years.
Her adventurous spirit took her on cherished travels to her favorite cities of Minneapolis and Savannah. An excellent cook, Liza was always cooking for others and was especially known for her chicken pot pie. Liza's eclectic taste in music and love for reading painted her as a person of varied and rich interests, from the high-energy tunes of Punk Rock to the soothing melodies of Enya, her delightful guilty pleasure.
Though intensely private and modest, those who knew Liza understood her as a beacon of love, kindness, generosity, and friendliness, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her love for animals was profound, exemplified by her adoption of her loyal dog, Gage, whom she rescued on his 365th day at the shelter.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emma and Isaac Steinbrecher of Columbus; grandchildren, Silas William Steinbrecher and Eloise Jean Steinbrecher; her mother, Cherie (Frank) Holland of Granville; her sister, Sarah (Glen) Brich of Granville and her twin sister, Vanessa (Gar) Seigla of Columbus; niece, Olivia Brich of Minneapolis, Minnesota; nephew, Harry Brich of Granville; and her significant other of over 20 years, Jeremy Philipps of Newark.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, William Joseph Holland.
