Marnie Lynn (Pine) Barry, age 50, of Fairfield, Vermont, passed away on April 14, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Marnie was a 1994 graduate of Granville High School and went on to earn degrees from The Ohio State University and the University of Vermont. She built a life centered on learning, community, and appreciation for nature.

Alongside running her company, Habitat Gardening, Marnie managed the Northwest Farmers Market of Vermont, where she helped connect local growers and the community. She also pursued her passion for education by teaching science and a love of nature to her middle school students. She was an avid Ohio State Football fan and loved the Boston Bruins.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Barry; her mother, Teresa “Tinker” Pine; her brother, JR Pine and his wife, Kathy; two nieces; one nephew; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Pine. Marnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A private family service will be held at a later date.
