Max G. Chrisman

Max G. Chrisman age 88 of Granville passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Johnstown Pointe in Johnstown while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 11, 1936, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Arthur A. and Cora (Miller) Chrisman.

Max was a 1955 graduate of Homer High School.  He retired from Owens Corning Technical Center after many years of service and was a member of the Retiree Club at Owens Corning.

Max is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Carol E. (Raftery) Chrisman; children, Debra Chrisman of Columbus, David Chrisman of Mt. Vernon and Susan (Craig) Yarger of Custar; two grandchildren, Brandon and Rebecca Yarger.

In addition to his parents, Max was also preceded in death by his brothers, Everett, Ned and Carroll.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Newark, PO Box 774, Newark, Ohio 43058.

A private burial will be held at Welsh Hills Cemetery.  McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Max and his family.
