Victoria L. Kiser

A memorial service celebrating the life of Victoria L. “Vicki” Kiser, age 77, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, at the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, 785 Newark Granville Road in Granville with Father Timothy Hayes officiating.

Vicki was born June 21, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Mitchell and Elizabeth (Harner) McMillan. She passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at her home.

Vicki received a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University. She was initially a Special Education teacher and later was an English teacher at Johnstown Middle School, specializing in literature and writing. A faithful member of St. Edward the Confessor Church, Vicki was very involved in many capacities within the church. She was an avid Miniature Pinscher lover and rescued many dogs over the years.

She is survived by two sons, Joshua M. Kiser (fiancée Jackie Ayars) of Newark and Seth E. Kiser of Henderson, Kentucky; granddaughter, Isabella Catherine Kiser; and two brothers, Mark E. (Bonnie) McMillan of Columbus and Jeffrey W. (Debbie) McMillan of Gahanna; nephew, Jarrod; and nieces, Sarah and Susan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Kiser, on May 20, 2014.
