Obituary

A graveside service will be held for Rodney E. Williams, 64, of Granville, at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Fredonia Cemetery with Rev. Casey Wilson as celebrant.

A 1976 graduate of Granville High School, Rod passed away September 10, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark. He was born to the late Franklin E. and Gwendolyn (Rector) Williams in Newark.

An education specialist, Rod worked at Denison University through the Licking County Department of Disabilities for 27 years with their trash and recycling program. His passion in life was cars, especially Mustangs. He enjoyed having a canine companion and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his step children, Kourtney Stout and Kristopher Stout; step grandchildren, Konner, Skye, Dravin, Kyah, Silas, Sybil, and Sayj; and step great grandchildren, Kenleigh. Cohen, and Ramiyah.

In addition to his parents, Rod was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Kathia E. Stout-Williams who died in 2019.
