Funeral Home Payment Policy

We know that many times death comes at a time when you, the survivors, are least prepared financially. A funeral is not meant to become a financial burden for anyone. Our payment policy was adopted to ensure that we meet our financial obligations and thus, remain able to continue to provide the families that we serve with the quality experiences to which they are entitled.

Before you leave today, your funeral director will discuss the following terms for payment with you and provide you with an itemized list of goods and services that you have selected.

We offer several options for payment:

  • A fully funded Pre-Arranged Funeral Plan
  • Payment by Cash, Personal Check, Visa, or Mastercard.
  • Assignment of a verifiable Life Insurance Policy for the cost of the funeral.
  • If a credit card is used, a 3.5% processing fee will be added to your invoice.

A responsible party must sign the funeral contract.

If we have assisted you with payment for cash advance items such as newspaper obituaries, honorariums, flowers, etc., payment for these items is due by the day of the service, unless there is a fully funded pre-arranged funeral or a life insurance assignment is being used.

We offer a Day of Service Savings (a credit of $200 for Burial Services and $100 for Cremation Services). To receive the Day of Service Savings, funeral expenses should be paid in full by cash or check before the day of the service. (The Day of Service Savings does not pertain to payment via credit card, a pre-arranged funeral contract, or an insurance assignment).

We regret that we are unable to accept the settlement of an estate through an attorney or probate court as a means of a financial arrangement.

Please let us know which method of payment you prefer and if you have any questions.

Outer Burial Container Price List

In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require you to purchase a container to surround the casket in a grave. However, many cemeteries require you to have such a container so that the grave will not continue to settle. Either a grave liner or burial vault will satisfy these requirements.
