Ruby and family;
I was so sorry to hear of Ivan's passing. He was a wonderful mentor, leader and friend. He showed faith in me and what I could do, and his encouragement made all the difference. Working with him in "The Mighty Land" was some of the most positive, affirming, wonderful, and challenging years of my career. I will always be grateful to him for all he did not only for me, but for all of us under his leadership..
His love for you and the girls and those precious grandchildren was always evident. If you wanted to see him truly light up, and distract him for a moment from fighting backorders! :), we could just mention his family, which usually led to a warm anecdote about your trips together, an upcoming wedding, or the latest accomplishment of one of the grands. He loved you all so much and was so proud of all of you.
With Love and prayers that you can feel Our Lord drawing close at this time.

My condolences go out to the Hall family. Peace be with you. While I never worked directly for Ivan, I worked in conjunction with him at times. He was such a kind man and DLA Land and Maritime was fortunate to have his presence for so many years.

Ruby and family, Ivan was one of the best people I ever knew and an absolute joy to work with. His sense of humor was overwhelming. A great boss, a good friend, and encouraging mentor. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
