How can our words portray the depth of our heartache?
What can we say to describe just a thread of our misery?
Your strong and gentle presence, with us never more,
I've loved you as my own dad, who left here years before.
The thing that comes to mind, when I start to feeling sad,
Is the lyric Bart Millard wrote, when he lost his own dad.
I can only imagine, what it must be like, just to walk by His side,
I can only imagine, what your eyes have seen, when His face is before thee.
I can only imagine....
If we focus on your happiness, your peace with no more pain,
It helps to ease our suffering, for we believe we'll meet again.
