Uncle Rodger was such a gracious and wonderful man. We totally enjoyed visiting with him whenever we came to Kendal to see Dad. Our granddaughter, Curstyn was especially fond of Rodger and spent time with him during our visits. I am comforted to think that Rodger and Cay are together again and that he and his brother and sister are together as well. I will always fondly remember his helpful advice during the difficult times we had with my father at Kendal. You have our deepest sympathy as you say your goodbyes. God Bless you David, Sarah Ellen and your families.

Our Heartfelt condolences for your loss of a marvelous gentleman and father.What a treat to have the pleasure to coincidentally meet this distinguished gentleman, and distant relative, in Nov 2011 at 84 years of age, during OSU Newark Campus Veteran’s Day Recognition event. Photo taken of Amy and “cousin” Roger at the event. Amy (Heilmann-Asmus) Rocco(Waterville, OH), husband Dr. Henry D. Rocco MSc.,M.D. , both formerly of Newark Ohio. Introduced to us by Ted Barclay for whom I worked as a team physician at Denison.
